PPF International was founded in 2002 by Andrew Pickard, whose extensive career in blue-chip companies like HSBC, American Express, Citigroup, and HFC Bank gave him unique insight into what truly drives business success. Having held senior roles such as Director of Credit and Risk, Director of Operations, and Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Andrew understood firsthand that success isn’t just about technical skills—it’s equally about finding the right cultural fit.
Frustrated by an industry often focused more on fees than on people, Andrew set out to build a recruitment firm grounded in a simple yet powerful principle: putting people first. He chose the name PPF International deliberately, reflecting this core value. Andrew has always believed that if clients or candidates ever feel that principle is compromised, they should raise their concerns directly with him.
PPF quickly became known for specialising in global senior-level management recruitment and advocate search (or “headhunting,” as it’s commonly called). Andrew recognised that truly successful individuals often don’t have time to look for new opportunities themselves — but that doesn’t mean they aren’t open to career growth. So, PPF built and nurtured an extensive network, working hard behind the scenes to connect organisations with the right leaders for their future success.
Though Andrew has since stepped back from day-to-day operations, his legacy remains the foundation on which PPF International continues to build — a business driven by integrity, people-first values, and an unwavering commitment to connecting the right talent with the right opportunities worldwide.
