PPF International was founded by Managing Director - Andrew Pickard

Proven not only in the executive recruitment marketplace, Andy has operated at Director level within blue chip organisations throughout a commercial career spanning some 20 years prior to entering recruitment.

Before entering the recruitment industry he worked for HSBC, HFC Bank, American Express, and Citigroup. Some positions held within these businesses include Director Credit and Risk, Director Operations, Director Marketing, and Vice President Sales & Marketing.

Having operated at senior levels within large corporations himself, Andrew Pickard has the experience and understanding of what it takes to succeed, for both the individual and corporate entity. This is critical in recruitment terms - people succeed in business not just because they have technical competency, but equally importantly, because they fit into a culture. 'Our success in recruitment is driven by our understanding of cultural fit just as much as technical competency' says Andrew.

Frustrated, even annoyed, by a recruitment industry which he perceived to be littered with organisations more interested in chasing fees than servicing people, he selected the name of the group very deliberately - "in dealing with us if you ever consider us to compromise our principles by not putting people first - please tell me and I will answer your concerns personally and seriously - our principles genuinely drive our business - they are absolutely not glossy words designed to be filed away".

PPF International specialise in global senior level management recruitment and advocate search - or headhunting as most people know it.

There is little doubt that genuinely successful people are often simply too busy being successful to find new opportunities - this doesn't mean that they're not interested in developing their careers, simply that finding new opportunities requires a tremendous network and a lot of hard work on the part of the individual.

PPF International use their own extensive network and put it to use on behalf of their clients, whether they be organisations recruiting new talent or individuals looking for their next move.

Advertising vacancies can often be a useful addition to the search process but rarely would PPF International advocate solely advertising when in truth, most successful people do not spend their time reading job boards or internet sites. Finding the right senior manager can often be the most critical factor in the future success of a function or Company.
